The HEDGE-IoT project made a significant impact at the Lisbon Energy Summit 2024, held from May 27 to 29 in Lisbon, Portugal. As part of the F6S Innovation booth, HEDGE-IoT joined forces with several other pioneering energy efficiency projects, including TWAIN, i-STENTORE, DigiWind, EXIGENCE, WeForming, 6G-PATH, SNUG EU, and INFERNO. This collaboration underscored the collective efforts of these projects in driving the energy transition forward.

This high-profile event attracted around 2,000 visitors, including ministers, policymakers, project developers, investors, and innovators, all focused on the future of smart energy and technological innovation. For HEDGE-IoT, it was an excellent opportunity to showcase its methodology, objectives, and goals, fostering new relationships and potential collaborations.
Promoting Open Calls and Project Activities
One of the key activities for HEDGE-IoT at the summit was promoting the open calls of the project, as well as other activities, with a focus on our pilots. By engaging directly with stakeholders, HEDGE-IoT aimed to attract more interested parties to participate in and contribute to the project’s development. Accelerating Towards a RES-Based System
By bringing together key stakeholders in green electron and green molecules to a 3-day conference and international exhibition, the Lisbon Energy Summit & Exhibition helps accelerate towards a renewable energy sources (RES)-based system. Developers of solar, wind, green hydrogen, green ammonia, storage solutions, e-fuels, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and power-to-X presented their latest and most innovative decarbonization solutions to an audience that included RES producers, project developers, independent power producers (IPPs), transmission system operators (TSOs), heavy industry, and transportation (shipping, road, rail) organizations.
