The HEDGE-IoT project proudly presents one of its consortium partners: the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (TUC). Renowned for its innovative research and technological advancements, TUC brings invaluable expertise to the project, particularly in the areas of AI/ML algorithms, blockchain technologies, and cloud/edge systems.
As part of HEDGE-IoT, TUC is responsible for developing an edge offloading orchestrator for smart grids, which will facilitate the discovery and selection of nodes for offloading energy services at the edge. This orchestrator also optimizes hyperparameters to ensure efficient and effective federated AI-driven energy services, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in smart grid management.
